contract information

A signed contract is required for all new design work prior to commencement. In addition, a deposit is required for all website design. Jobs will be released to client and/or posted live to a server when contract is paid in full. We bill at a rate of $65/hour, reflected in an initial written estimate provided free of charge. Revised estimates, based on client additions and/or changes, will be billed accordingly.

 

our web design process : we provide an initial one-hour consultation to establish the scope of the project, including desired content, graphics, technologies, and future enhancements. There is no charge for this service. At this time, an overall design strategy is identified and a production timeline established. The client then submits an outline detailing the complete content of the website from which a cost estimate is prepared. Upon acceptance of the contract (with signature and deposit), design work begins.

 

We design three sample pages for client review. Upon design approval, templates are prepared for the entire site. Concurrently, the client is expected to provide content to support each outline item in electronic format. For search engine optimization, clients are also asked to provide a list of keywords and a brief description of the website. Acceptable file formats for text are Microsoft Word (.doc), Rich Text Format (.rtf), iWork Pages (.pages) or PDF (.pdf). There will be an additional charge for documents requiring electronic transcription. Images provided by client can be accepted in most file formats (jpg, gif, pdf, tif).
